Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to support our daily operations in Townsville. This role reports to the Area Operations Manager and will assist some of our other production plants in the region.
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising sites to ensure safe and efficient concrete production for our customers.
About You:
* You have skills in forklift and front-end loader operation, including an HR license.
* You are a self-motivated team player who can work independently and under pressure.
* You possess a strong passion for safety and a solid work ethic.
* You have effective communication skills and can manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* You must be physically capable of performing all duties associated with the position.
* A driver's license and reliable transportation are essential, and a FEL or LF competency is beneficial but not necessary.
* You are willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol screening.
Key Responsibilities:
* Displaying a strong safety culture at all times.
* Collaborating with the team to achieve operational goals.
* Producing high-quality concrete using various systems and processes (training provided).
* Allocating and assigning loads to drivers effectively.
* Managing stock levels and coordinating deliveries efficiently.
* Overseeing contractors performing site maintenance.
* Maintaining the yard and operating front-end loaders safely.
* Operating forklifts and handling manual bagged products safely.
