Job Overview
Our client is a premium supplier of high-performance CNC machinery and after-sales services, specialising in stone, glass, plastics. metal and advanced materials processing. With a strong reputation built on service excellence and long-term customer relationships, they are now seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Queensland.
This is a true on-the-road role with a heavy new business focus, offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to build significant earnings through uncapped commission.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business development across Queensland, covering all product divisions
* Identify, qualify, and convert new CNC machinery sales opportunities
* Build strong relationships with customers in stone, glass, plastics and advanced materials industries
* Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to deal closure
* Maintain and grow a pipeline of opportunities via consistent CRM updates
* Work autonomously in the field, with minimal office requirements
* Attend the Brisbane office once per week (Tuesday mornings) for team meetings and collaboration
* Coordinate with service and technical teams to ensure smooth customer outcomes
* Represent the business at customer sites, demonstrations, and industry engagements
About You:
* Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within CNC machinery or capital equipment
* Background in stone, glass, or similar processing industries highly regarded
* Strong hunter mentality with the ability to generate and close new business
* Comfortable working independently with full ownership of your territory
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
* Results-driven, self-motivated, and commercially astute
* Confident using CRM systems to manage pipeline and activity
* Current driver’s license and willingness to travel across QLD
