About the Role:
As a Clinical Nurse in Residential Care, you will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings, drawing on your consolidated experience and/or further study. You'll continue to build your expertise as you transition from competent to proficient practice.
This predominantly clinical role includes accountability for your own standards of care and for the safe delegation of tasks. You'll also play a key role in mentoring and supporting less experienced staff, helping to foster professional growth within your team. Portfolio responsibilities will be assigned in alignment with your performance and career development plans, allowing you to expand your influence and contribute meaningfully to continuous improvement in aged care.
What We're Looking For:
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
* Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
