Lead Clinical Practitioner in Primary Care
A key leadership role has become available within our medical practice for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Chronic Disease Management: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans, conduct thorough health assessments, and provide evidence-based treatment to patients with chronic conditions.
* Vaccinations and Procedures: Administer immunisations, perform ECGs and spirometry, and provide wound care and dressings, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
* Treatment Room Coordination: Assist doctors with minor surgical procedures, manage stock control, and maintain medical equipment, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
* Infection Control: Implement and enforce rigorous infection control measures to guarantee a safe working environment for staff and patients alike.
* Patient Education: Collaborate with management to identify patient educational needs and develop targeted programs to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
* A current, unrestricted nurses registration with AHPRA is essential.
* A strong clinical background, coupled with exceptional time management skills, is required for success in this role.
* Ability to work independently, as part of a team, with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills is crucial.
