Store Person – Darwin Warehouse
This permanent role will be part of a small team of dedicated employees who play an important role in ensuring critical medical equipment and products are delivered to the Darwin Hospital and other healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities
* Unload inbound deliveries and put away all stock.
* Receive inbound stock and check deliveries to ensure correct quantities, product accuracy, batch numbers, expiry dates, and identify any damage or discrepancies.
* Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders.
* Replenish stock into pick locations using a forklift and, at times, manual lifting.
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised workspace.
Qualifications
* Prior experience in a warehouse is ideal, however we are willing to train the right person who is interested in a career in warehousing.
* Current driver's licence.
* Current forklift licence (LF).
* A good work ethic and willingness to learn.
Work Hours and Benefits
This role is Monday – Friday 8:00am - 4:06pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Uniforms are provided (hi-vis polo shirts, fleece jumper and either shorts or trousers).
