Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the packing and removals team to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations.
* Oversee the packing, loading, transportation and unloading of customer belongings with a focus on quality and care.
* Ensure all packing materials, equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and readily available.
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders for packing supplies as needed.
* Provide hands-on support to the team during peak periods or complex moves.
* Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement process improvements.
* Foster a positive, safety-conscious work culture and provide coaching and development to team members.
* Liaise with the customer service team to address any customer queries or concerns.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry.
* Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Sound knowledge of packing techniques, materials and equipment.
* Forklift and other machinery operating licences highly regarded.
* Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
