Overview
We're looking for someone who can lead the design and delivery of enterprise data and AI governance, ensuring trusted, ethical, and secure use of data while enabling safe, scalable innovation for our clients across their organization.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead and enforce enterprise-wide data and AI governance, including policies, frameworks, lifecycle controls, and regulatory compliance.
* Uphold data quality and integrity through stewardship oversight, issue remediation, metadata management, and retention/disposal controls.
* Drive cross‐functional governance alignment with privacy, legal, cybersecurity, risk, and other stakeholders, including forums and executive reporting.
* Uplift organisational capability by guiding governance teams, promoting best practices, and enabling adoption of governance tools and automation.
Essential Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Data Governance, Law, Computer Science, or related field.
* Deep experience in data governance, AI governance, or information risk in complex or regulated environments.
* Proven ability to manage data lifecycle, retention policies, enterprise metadata, and quality frameworks.
* Track record of defining and enforcing standards for vendor selection and project execution in data and AI contexts.
* Expertise in regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, AI Acts), data privacy, and compliance obligations.
Desirable
* Exposure to model risk management frameworks and AI/ML model lifecycle governance.
* Knowledge of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and MLOps environments.
* Exposure to board-level governance reporting or oversight.

Casual Loading
