Our Sydney team is seeking a passionate Historical Archaeologist to contribute to exciting projects that shape Australia's heritage future.
About the Role
As a Heritage Advisor – Historical Archaeology, you will:
Manage and deliver commercial consultancy projects.
Undertake archaeological surveys, excavations, and site assessments.
Prepare high-quality heritage reports and impact assessments.
Engage with Aboriginal communities and stakeholders.
Apply your expertise to conserve and interpret heritage places.
Qualifications
Degree in Archaeology (Honours or equivalent), with a focus on Australian archaeology.
Demonstrated knowledge of historical archaeological sites and cultural heritage management in Australia.
Experience in archaeological fieldwork, site recording, and assessment.
Strong understanding of relevant heritage legislation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Current driver's licence and Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card).
Consulting experience in a commercial environment.
Experience in conservation or interpretation.
