WHS Advisor

* Permanent full time role
* Salary range $86,168* - $98,620* per annum depending on experience

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior WHS Advisor, in this newly created role you will be predominantly based at our Works Depot, located on Barlee Street, Busselton, and will work closely with our outside workforce which comprises of our Civil Infrastructure, Parks & Gardens and Waste teams.

You'll play a pivotal role in advancing safety and wellbeing across our organisation. From developing and embedding WHS systems, to engaging with teams and promoting safety best practices, you'll be a key team member in our journey towards excellence in workplace health and safety.

What you'll bring to the role:

You will align with our values and ideally have the following competencies:

* A relevant qualification in Work Health and Safety or a related discipline.
* Experience implementing WHS systems in a practical, team-based environment.
* Strong understanding of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and injury management processes.
* Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organisation.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to influence cultural change and drive safety performance.
* Investigative, problem-solving and analytical skills.

The successful applicant will also be required to provide a National Police Clearance no more than six months old.
