Civil Mining Resources is seeking an experienced HD Fitter to join our team on long-term FIFO civil and mining projects across Western Australia. These roles support the maintenance and reliability of a large earthmoving fleet operating across bulk earthworks, mining support, and civil construction activities. About the role
As a HD Fitter, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of heavy earthmoving equipment to ensure plant availability and safe operation across site.
Plant may include:
* Excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, water carts, and articulated dump trucks
* Supporting ancillary plant and equipment as required
This role requires strong fault-finding skills, preventative maintenance capability, and the ability to work independently in a remote FIFO environment.
What you\'ll be doing
* Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other industrial machinery
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and implement corrective actions
* Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
* Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and specifications
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities
* Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Minimum 5 years experience as an HD Fitter
Strong experience maintaining civil and/or mining earthmoving equipment
Proven diagnostic and breakdown repair capability
Experience with preventative and scheduled maintenance programs
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a site maintenance team
Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum Class C)
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards

Mandatory Requirements
* Trade qualification – Heavy Diesel Fitting
* Construction White Card (classroom-based)
* Ability to work FIFO rosters
