Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an ICT Change Manager for a federal government department with offices in the ACT. The role will be responsible for overseeing and managing changes to IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to minimise risk, ensure service stability, and support business objectives. This role will also ensure that all technology changes are properly assessed, approved, implemented, and reviewed in alignment with IT governance and service management frameworks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage the end-to-end IT Change Management process in line with ITIL or organisational standards.
* Review, assess and approve requests for change.
* Lead and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
* Conduct Impact and Risk assessments for planned changes.
* Ensure proper documentation, testing and rollback plans are in place.
* Track and report changes metrics.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit and security requirements.
* Continuously improve IT Change Management processes and policies.
Criteria
* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) leading the assessment, analysis, development, documentation, and implementation of changes arising from Requests for Change (RFCs) within complex ICT environments.
* Demonstrated experience managing ICT change within large, complex, and multi-layered environments, including infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and network services.
* Demonstrated experience facilitating Change Advisory Boards (CABs) and managing end-to-end change lifecycles.
* Strong knowledge of Service Now (or equivalent ITSM tools).
