Swickers is the largest Australian owned pork processor and continues to be a market leader in pork production.The opportunityAs the Payroll Support Officer, you will report directly to the Group Payroll Manager and be a key member of the payroll team for operations based in Kingaroy and servicing a number of external sites.
This function provides accurate weekly payroll processing and associated daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
You must be available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.Key Requirements to be considered for the roleMust be self driven and have the ability to work autonomously and adhere to strict deadlinesPrevious experience with payroll functions – highly regardedPrevious knowledge in interpretation of industrial instruments – EBA, Award, etcProficiencies with data entry and Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and WordComplete Time Target edits on a daily basis as directed by Department Managers/SupervisorsInput of leave form applications into Time TargetMaintain Employee records within Time Target including adjustments to pay rates, departments and rolesAdd information for new employees within Time TargetPrepare Agency Spread Sheets where necessaryThorough knowledge of industrial instruments in place within the group (EBA, MECA etc.)Thorough working knowledge of the Time Target system including rostering, logging of errors/issues through Time Target Support, and award interpretation.Understanding of Workcover Payments and lodgement of Workcover Partials online.Ability to maintain strict confidentialityHonesty and trustworthy service to the businessUnderstanding of Taxation laws and superannuation in relation to payroll functionsAttention to detail is essentialWhat we're looking forSwickers has established an efficient, highly skilled yet diversified team.
