1. Diverse portfolio of clients. Manage the estate planning objectives of a client around their personal estate assets as well as non-estate assets via other legal structures. Manage the entire process from initial client meeting(s), review of source documentation, provision of taxation and SMSF legislative advice, discussion on key estate planning issues and highlighting estate planning 'gaps' for further consultation. Co-ordination and involvement in family meetings. Implementation and co-ordination of advice and liaison with estate lawyers re: drafting of relevant estate documentation.
2. Consideration, advice, and implementation of key issues around business succession to the next generation or external parties.
3. Continual client relationships and managing changes of family circumstances to estate planning structuring and documentation.
4. Clear articulation and collaboration skills. Working with the wider family to counsel, mediate and support the estate objective concepts of the patriarch and/ or matriarch.

6. Ability to listen, absorb and be objective and factual in your approach.

11. Strong technical skill set in SMSF, taxation and estate planning legislation and implementation with the willingness to learn and continue to develop your skills.
12. Strong time management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills will be key as you develop relationships with key stakeholders among our clients.
13. Ability to 'think outside the square'. Knowing the family objectives, what tax, superannuation, estate issues need to be considered?
14. A client centric approach and ability to understand your clients' business.
QualificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications such as CA or CPA (or equivalent) are advantageous, as are law degrees/qualified lawyers.
