About the Role SeaLink Rottnest & Captain Cook Cruises, Perth's leading Cruise Company and part of the Kelsian Group Limited - SeaLink Marine & Tourism, is seeking a Marine Maintenance Allrounder with a broad skill base to join our team who cares for a fleet of Tourist, Charter and Ferry Vessels. We are looking for someone with a passion for boats who has a range of skills.
We are looking for someone with a broad skill base across the marine maintenance field. It requires someone who can be flexible with hours and who loves to be part of a dynamic team often under pressure. You will report to the WA Maintenance Manager and will be part of the shore-based maintenance team working in both our Fremantle shipyard and Perth city jetty's.
You will be required to:
o Work ashore as part of the Wharf based engineering maintenance team
o Service & general repairs on a wide range of vessels
o Diagnostic problem solving & rectification
o Continue to be up to date with current technology
o Work as part of a team supporting onboard MED's
o Flexible hours at short notice, as required
o Work on a rotating shift roster that includes weekends, early mornings, evenings, and some public holidays.
About you
We will need you to have the following skills and experience:
o Experience in servicing periodical inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to commercial vessels
o Computer knowledge, proficiency with MEX fleet management software or similar
o Demonstrate your ability to always provide high quality work
o Demonstrate your ability to work unsupervised
o Demonstrate current product knowledge & diagnostic skills
o Team player able to meet deadlines & work to schedules
o You must hold a current open driver's licence
o You must be living in Australia with an entitlement to work
o Marine Engine Drivers ticket and forklift ticket an advantage
