Role Overview

This role sits at the intersection of research, technology, and data. You will design and implement digital tools and workflows that streamline research administration, modernize data systems, and empower researchers with insights that drive impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deploy digital solutions that automate and enhance research processes, including AI and emerging technologies.
* Support the creation of interactive dashboards and data visualizations that inform research planning and strategic decision-making.
* Drive the transition from legacy databases to modernized, centralized platforms that improve efficiency and sustainability.
* Build data pipelines by integrating APIs and external systems into our research infrastructure.
* Promote data literacy and support best practice in the use of research metrics across the institution.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* Strong skills in data extraction, analysis, and visualization (Excel, Power BI or similar).
* Hands-on experience with scripting/programming (SQL, Python, R) for data automation and workflow optimization.
* Technical expertise in Linux/Windows environments and databases (Oracle, MariaDB, MS SQL Server).
* Understanding of APIs and system integration for research workflows.
* Strong communication skills to engage with researchers, administrators, and executives.
* Experience with AI-enabled tools or workflows to support research (desirable).
