About The Role
We are seeking expressions of interest for a Chef Manager role at our Malmsbury site. This is a hands‐on leadership role offering genuine work‐life balance. You'll oversee daily kitchen operations, deliver high‐quality meals, and ensure a safe, structured environment.
Alongside leading your team and maintaining high standards in a busy kitchen, you'll also mentor young people in training and work experience programmes.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high‐quality outcomes
* Prepare, present, and deliver fresh meals at scale in a high‐volume environment
* Manage special dietary requirements
* Oversee daily kitchen operations: food preparation, service, delivery, dishwashing, and cleaning
* Maintain strict food safety and compliance standards
* Deliver efficient, professional service within a secure and structured environment
Desired Skills and Experience
* Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate preferred (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
* Experience leading teams in high‐volume catering, healthcare, corrections, or similar environments
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to work confidently within a regulated setting
* Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
