Location: Gatton, Lockyer Valley Region QLD 4343, Yuggera Land



Centre: Goodstart Gatton



Employment Type: Part Time minimum 15 hours per week, fixed term contract



Pay: up to $36.53 + Superannuation + Benefits

As a Goodstart Educator, you'll become a vital part of our team, working alongside Senior Educators and our Educational Leader to craft and enhance exceptional learning programs for our children. About Goodstart Gatton:



At our centre, you'll feel supported and appreciated in a fun, flexible, and friendly environment. With newly renovated indoor and outdoor learning spaces, you'll join a team that is truly passionate about helping children learn, grow, and develop. Our 74-place centre offers flexible shift times and part-time options (3, 4, and 5 days) to support a healthy work-life balance.



We provide our Educators, Educational Leader, Safety Champion, Senior Educators, and Assistant Director with dedicated programming time off the floor, ensuring that everyone can contribute to the centre’s growth and knowledge enhancement. The centre exudes a welcoming and calm atmosphere, with long-standing Educators—most with 5-10 years of tenure—from countries including New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Czechoslovakia, and Australia.



We also celebrate and support the diverse cultures of our centre’s families and children, including First Nations, Taiwanese, Sudanese, Islanders, Afghans, and more. These reciprocal relationships between home and the centre enrich our cultural offerings, fostering the children's learning, development, and cultural safety.

You’ll need:



* Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
* Current Queensland Working with Children Check
