About the role
Safety and Standards Home Services' is seeking experienced Gardeners to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Northern Adelaide, SA, this is an opportunity to utilise your green thumb and horticulture expertise to help maintain the beautiful gardens and landscaping of our valued clients. As a Gardener, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients' properties are well-kept and presentable.
What you'll be doing
* Performing regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, pruning and planting
* Caring for a variety of plants, shrubs and trees to keep them healthy and thriving
* Conducting minor landscaping work as needed, such as mulching, fertilising and garden bed preparation
* Identifying and addressing any pest or disease issues to prevent damage
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
* Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a professional Gardener or in a similar horticulture role
* Sound knowledge of plant care, landscaping techniques and gardening best practices
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet client expectations
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A keen eye for detail and a dedication to high-quality work
* Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual gardening tasks
* A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
