The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
* Act as the key account manager, developing client relationships based on partnership and trust.
* Utilize your business development skills to engage new clients and secure repeat projects with existing clients.
* Oversee key strategic client projects.
* Create estimates and cost plans for major client developments.
* Demonstrate high proficiency in Cost X & databooks.
* Have experience managing large teams.
* Lead the preparation of QTO for Cost Plans / BoQs.
* Develop and implement QAQC Plans / Manuals to ensure project quality.
* Express high proficiency in MEP packages and moderate knowledge of MEPF works.
* Possess basic knowledge of procurement for global projects.
* Manage multiple projects and stakeholders across various time zones.
* Support Sales and Marketing efforts.
* Participate in drafting proposals for clients.
* Build and nurture strong client relationships to support business growth.
* Provide training to leaders and team members.
* Mentor and lead your team to deliver high-quality work and client value.
We would love to hear from you if you:
* Have at least 15 years of experience in cost management, especially pre-construction works, preferably from a consultancy background, on large-scale construction projects, ideally in data centers and life sciences.
* Have a minimum of 4 years of experience using Cost X (or Planswift / Cubicost / Candy / ZW CAD).
* Have experience leading a business, building a team, and developing trusted client relationships.
* Are chartered or working towards chartership. We can assist with this.
* Understand the business model and pursue market opportunities.
* Hold a degree or equivalent experience in a cost management or construction discipline.
* Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Enjoy a dynamic environment with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
* Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through shared purpose, openness, and a positive attitude.
