Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with senior surveyors to ensure accurate data collection and equipment maintenance.
* Maintain and calibrate subsea equipment, troubleshooting and repairing as necessary.
* Configure and operate hydrographic and marine geophysics survey equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project procedures.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying or Marine Science (or equivalent).
* Solid understanding of logistics planning and coordination.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
* Ability to maintain detailed logs and records during operations.
About Our Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hydrographic Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our offshore operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of surveys and equipment maintenance tasks.
This full-time position is based in Perth, with approximately 120-150 days spent offshore annually. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborating with experienced professionals and contributing to the development of our offshore wind farm portfolio.
