The role
Support personnel with high manual handling skills required for ongoing shifts for a team providing care for a male with spinal cord injury.
Primary Responsibilities
Your primary role will be providing one‐on‐one support within the home or in the community. This may include assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, community access and other aspects of daily living.
About you
* Minimum 3 months paid demonstrated experience working with clients with physical disabilities.
* Experience in hoist use and bowel therapy.
* Robust time‐management skill and a quick learner.
* 'Can do' attitude and proactive approach to problem solving.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills.
* Meal preparation skills.
* Live no further than 20–30 minutes travel from Fortitude Valley (preferred but not mandatory).
