About the role
As a SAP FI and Reporting Engineer at Palisades Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's financial and reporting systems. This is a contract position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra.
What you'll be doing
* Providing expert-level support and configuration for the company's SAP FI (Financial Accounting) module
* Designing, developing, and maintaining custom financial reporting solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and implement effective solutions
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the SAP FI system and financial reporting processes
* Optimising system performance and ensuring data integrity within the SAP FI environment
* Documenting processes and providing training to end-users as needed
What we're looking for
* 8+ years of experience in an SAP FI and reporting role, preferably within a large or complex organisation
* Extensive knowledge of SAP FI module configuration, integration, and reporting capabilities
* Proficiency in developing custom financial reports and dashboards using tools such as SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, or other reporting solutions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex financial reporting issues
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
