Morgan Consulting is delighted to partner exclusively with an established and renowned professional services group operating within the construction industry as they look to secure their next Finance Manager.The incumbent will be tasked with leading the finance function, overseeing multi-entity reporting, governance, and compliance across a national footprint. The position is pivotal in managing all financial operations across a group of unit trusts, including team leadership (onshore and offshore), financial reporting, cashflow management, payroll oversight for 100+ staff, and continuous improvement of systems and processes. You will play a hands-on role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of finance operations while supporting directors, senior managers, unitholders, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of accountants
* Oversee daily finance operations, inter-entity accounting, and internal controls
* Manage ERP accuracy, monthly reporting, bank reporting, and consolidated group accounts
* Partner with external accountants on BAS, IAS, compliance, and statutory reporting
* Maintain cashflow, investment management, and unitholder distribution processes
* Oversee payroll for 100+ employees and ensure compliance with all obligations
* Review supplier costs, manage accounts receivable, and support system integration improvements
About You
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
* CPA or CA qualified
* 7+ years' finance experience, including leadership responsibility
* Proficient with ERP systems
* Skilled in cashflow management, financial reporting, and advanced Excel skills
* Confident communicator with strong analytical and leadership capability
