The role offered is for a speech pathologist (experienced or new grad) to join the House of Speech team and provide speech pathology services in a rural location.
This role will contain a mixture of clinic and mobile services, with predominately clinic appointments in our space in Kingaroy.
This role will be a paediatric caseload; however, if you have an interest in seeing adult clients, there are options for this as well.
Within the role, you will provide 1:1 face-to-face services, run group programs, and engage in parent coaching and training. Your work day will be based around your preferred service delivery modes to best suit you and your working style.
Various remuneration schemes are on offer for the right candidate:
Full-time employee with optional RDO each fortnight or month. Casual employee at an above-average hourly rate (dependent on experience). Independent Contractor for 60% of clinical fees. Employment Term:
Full-time is preferred, options for part-time.
Weekly Mentoring with Senior Speech Pathologist
Within your role, you will have access to weekly mentoring with a senior speech pathologist. This speech pathologist has extensive clinical support for paediatrics, and mentoring will be provided via Zoom. You also have access to experienced Speech Pathologists to ask questions at any point you may need.
Mentoring also provided with the option for attending group mentoring programs and a $2000 PD allowance.
What we are looking for…
House of Speech is seeking a Speech Pathologist who is able to:
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the assessment and therapy approaches for a paediatric caseload. Work independently and manage their own caseload efficiently (Support provided for new graduates). Connect with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with stakeholders.
