An exciting opportunity for an experienced WHS Manager, based in Western Australia, to provide strategic leadership and deliver key safety initiatives within a growing aged care provider.
Your role
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you'll be responsible for leading workplace health and safety across our national portfolio of aged care services. This role provides strategic and operational leadership of the organisation's WHS Management System, ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements. The position leads a national team of WHS and Injury Management specialists and works closely with operational leaders to promote a safe, healthy and psychologically safe workplace.
What you'll bring
* Demonstrated experience leading WHS functions within complex, multi‐site organisations (aged care experience will be well‐regarded but not essential)
* Strong practical knowledge of WHS Legislation, Regulations and Codes of Practice
* Proven experience managing WHS systems (preferably Donesafe), audits, incident investigations and compliance reporting
* Demonstrated ability to build strong and credible stakeholder engagement, to build awareness and understanding of organisational obligations on WHS matter.
* Experience overseeing Injury Management and workers' compensation as part of a broader WHS portfolio
* Strong leadership capability, including managing and developing specialist teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clinical and executive stakeholders
* Tertiary qualifications in WHS (minimum of a Cert IV in WHS)
* National police clearance (within past 6 months)
* Driver's licence and own vehicle
* Full working rights in Australia
