Clinical Nurse Consultant | Orthopaedic Surgery | Brisbane An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join a high-performing team in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a senior orthopaedic nurse with strong expertise across large joint surgery and hands-on experience supporting robotic-assisted procedures. The Role Working closely with orthopaedic surgeons, theatre teams and hospital stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in clinical leadership, education and procedural support across complex orthopaedic cases. You will be a key resource for best-practice care in shoulder, hip and knee surgery, with a particular focus on robotic joint replacement programs. Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical support across orthopaedic procedures involving shoulder, hip and knee Act as a clinical lead and educator for theatre and perioperative teams Support and optimise the use of Stryker MAKO robotic systems in joint replacement surgery Collaborate with surgeons to ensure best patient outcomes and procedural efficiency Contribute to clinical governance, protocols and continuous quality improvement Provide mentorship and education to nursing and theatre staff About You Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration Significant experience in orthopaedic surgery, particularly large joint procedures Demonstrated experience working with Stryker MAKO robotic-assisted surgery (essential) Strong clinical leadership, education and stakeholder engagement skills Confident working in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments This is a rare opportunity for a senior orthopaedic nurse to step into a highly specialised CNC role and be part of a progressive, technology-driven surgical Hospital For a confidential Discussion please call Cody Thomas on 0455444613
