About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Data Analyst/Data Scientist Intern to join our host company. This internship offers an opportunity to work on real-world client data requests, transforming and categorizing large datasets while building AI-driven insights. As an intern, you will gain hands‐on experience with data analytics tools and methodologies, working closely with experienced professionals in the field. Key Responsibilities
* Data Querying & Analysis: Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data, transform datasets using Python, and apply machine learning techniques to derive deeper insights.
* Dashboarding & Reporting: Assist in creating visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to highlight procurement trends and identify anomalies.
* Data Quality & Troubleshooting: Support the identification and resolution of data errors, ensuring accuracy and maintaining quality control over deliverables.
* AI & Automation: Collaborate on projects that leverage RestAPI (OpenAI GPT), large language models (LLMs), and AI agents to enhance data transformation processes and predictive analytics.
* Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings and progress updates, contributing to discussions with clear, actionable insights tailored for non‐technical audiences.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Proficiency
* Proficient in SQL (MS SQL) for data querying and extraction.
* Familiar with Python for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics.
* Understanding of machine learning techniques, including clustering, time‐series forecasting, and predictive analytics.
* Experience with Tableau (preferred) or Power BI for data visualization.
* Familiarity with RestAPI, especially for integrating OpenAI GPT and AI‐driven solutions.
* Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and AI agents is a plus.
Analytical & Problem‐Solving Skills
* Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
* Detail‐oriented with a focus on data quality control.
* Proactive mindset to troubleshoot, identify gaps, and optimize processes.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to non‐technical stakeholders.
