The Opportunity - Administration Officer
We're seeking an experienced, proactive Administrator to join our North QLD & NT division.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Townsville.
In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day running of the laboratory and broader region, working closely with our Area Manager and Lab Managers to keep operations organised and on track.
Full training will be provided to help you settle in and succeed.
Monday to Friday in the office, usually 8:30am-5:00pm.
We're flexible if you need to adjust hours—just chat with us.
Location: Townsville Laboratory
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support for Area Manager and Lab Managers
Maintain client registers and processes
Coordinate travel bookings
Order uniforms, stationery and laboratory supplies
Fleet management such as vehicle servicing, repairs and fuel cards
Accounts payable (staff expenses, purchase orders, invoicing)
Schedule and report Site Classifications
Assist with licence renewals and insurance claims
Answer calls, greet visitors handle mail and general office duties
What We're Looking For
Experience in accounts payable, invoicing and general administration
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Previous database or system experience
A friendly team player who enjoys supporting others
