Apple Isle Pork are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our team. Tasks would involve working in the piggery, e.g. feeding, weaning, washing, breeding, herd health & herd recording etc.
The right candidate would:
* Be enthusiastic with a can do attitude
* Prompt and time conscious
* Fit and capable of lifting feed bags etc
* Not afraid to get dirty
* Speak fluent English
* Driver's licence/own transport
* Own accommodation (We can assist in finding accommodation if need be)
* A keen learner
* Ability to work alone & in a team
* Not essential, but advantageous: forklift licence, truck licence, interest in breeding & genetics, livestock care experience, welding/maintenance experience, fencing experience, mechanical experience
Remuneration will be based on skillset/experience.
