The Sales Director Role
* Cover the Private Practise Scope of Dental/Ortho Industry
* Understanding the DM value proposition and how significantly it can change an orthodontic & Dental practice
* Create and execute a strategic plan to exceed sales targets
* Build a high performing, industry benchmark sales team
* Partner with customers & KOLs to understand their business objectives
* Develop and nurture KOLs/speakers to further support DMs growth
* Attend trade shows, both local and international
* Understanding the DM value proposition and how significantly it can change an orthodontic practice
* Create and execute a strategic plan to exceed sales targets, company KPIs and objectives
* Build, motivate, develop and retain a high performing, industry benchmark sales team
* A clear understanding of the conceptual/consultative selling approach, and how to instill this approach in to your team
* Manage underperformance effectively and appropriately
* Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and critical issues
* Build and nurture own relationships and contacts in the industry
️ You will be successful in this role if ️
* You have a proven sales executive track record of sales achievement
* You have a background in Dental (Orthodontics preferred), Medical Technology, Pharmaceuticals, or B2B IT SaaS
* You have a minimum of 5 years Sales Director experience
* You have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire your co workers
* You have a high level of IT knowledge and appreciation for new technology
* You have the ability to build and maintain positive mutual partnerships with internal and external customers
It would be fantastic if
* You have a background in med-tech, dental and/or ortho (desirable)
* You have a high level of IT knowledge and high appreciation for new technology
