Responsible for the operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar PV power plants to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. The role includes routine maintenance, fault finding, SCADA monitoring, and HV switching activities where authorised.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV assets
* Carry out fault finding on inverters, PV strings, combiner boxes, and AC/DC electrical systems
* Monitor plant performance via SCADA and respond to alarms and underperformance issues
* Conduct IV curve testing, insulation resistance testing, and thermographic inspections
* Execute HV switching operations (11kV–33kV) in accordance with approved switching programs
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders in CMMS systems
* Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and asset managers for rectification and warranty works
* Ensure strict compliance with HSE procedures, SWMS, and electrical safety regulations
* Support commissioning, energisation, and outage management activities
* Inverter OEM training (SMA, Ingeteam, Sungrow)
