A leading Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Pega Technical Architect to join a transformation-focused program supporting national regulatory and compliance operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape high-impact solutions using the Pega platform across multiple mission-critical applications. The successful Pega Technical Architect will provide leadership in designing secure, scalable solutions in line with enterprise architecture standards. The Pega Technical Architect will be offered an initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option. This role is open to candidates in NSW with hybrid working arrangements.
The successful Pega Technical Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Design end-to-end Pega solutions using industry best practices and architecture frameworks
• Provide technical leadership across the delivery lifecycle, from planning to implementation
• Develop and guide integrations, APIs, decision trees, and UI components in line with performance and usability goals
• Ensure alignment with ISM and PSPF frameworks and support testing and performance tuning
To be successful, the Pega Technical Architect will demonstrate:
• 5+ years of hands-on Pega development experience with strong architectural design capabilities
• Certification as a Pega CSA (minimum), with additional certifications highly desirable (CSSA, CLSA)
• Experience with APIs, file integrations, event-driven architecture, and Pega cloud implementations
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and the ability to lead technical teams
