About The Role
Join Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) as a Finance Officer and play a key role in delivering high-level financial administrative services that support sound financial management across the district. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration are valued.
Role Responsibilities include,
* Provide education on cash receipting and banking processes across the LHD
* Monitor, review, and process sundry debtor transactions.
* Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
* Prepare, process, and upload journals accurately, including distribution and reconciliation of accounts.
* Assist with revenue accounting projects and mentor non-finance staff on systems and procedures.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives for financial systems and processes.
