Compliance Manager Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework, plan and program to address legal and regulatory requirements specific to GROW and the superannuation industry.
* Monitor and interpret regulations and industry standards as they apply to GROW, ensuring timely adaptation and response to regulatory changes.
* Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and key client stakeholders regarding compliance matters.
* Drive GROW's compliance monitoring and reporting system, ensuring adherence to obligations and effective mapping of compliance controls.
* Assess potential compliance risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans, supporting informed decision‐making across the business.
* Lead compliance incident investigations, reporting, and resolution, working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure incident closure and lessons learned.
* Coordinate and participate in compliance audits and testing to assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
* Collaborate cross‐functionally with Legal, People & Culture, Learning & Development and Super Operations to provide expert compliance guidance.
* Foster a strong culture of compliance across GROW, championing integrity, accountability and innovation.
* Advise GROW teams on a range of regulatory and compliance matters, becoming a trusted partner to the business.
Qualifications
* Experience working in the superannuation (preferred), managed funds (nice to have) and/or financial services (must have) industries.
* Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compliance strategies and frameworks.
* Previous experience in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of industry‐specific regulations and compliance standards.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‐oriented environment.
* Strong problem‐solving and critical‐thinking abilities.
