HaSS Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate HaSS teacher to inspire our students and foster a love for history, geography, and culture.

This role is ideal for a committed educator who can model Christian values and provide an authentic witness to those beliefs. As a Secondary HaSS Teacher, you will have the opportunity to develop teaching programs with a biblical perspective, meet the diverse needs of our students, and achieve significant educational outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to maintain a high level of competence in pedagogy, classroom management, and behavioural support skills. You will also be responsible for teaching religious education consistent with the policies and procedures of NT Christian Schools, and modelling Christian principles by example.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement engaging teaching programs that integrate Christian values
* Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their emotional and social well-being
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
* Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices

Requirements:

* Degree in Education or relevant field
* Proven experience in teaching History, Geography, and Society Studies
* Ability to model Christian values and promote spiritual growth
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
