About the role
Central Australian Aboriginal Congress' is seeking an experienced and passionate General Practitioner to join our team in Yulara, NT. As a General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and culturally sensitive primary healthcare services to the local Aboriginal community. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of our patients.
What you'll be doing
* Providing high-quality medical care, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions
* Conducting comprehensive health assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care
* Promoting preventive health measures and educating patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
* Participating in continuous professional development to stay informed of the latest medical advancements
What we're looking for
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship
* Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of evidence-based medical practices
* Demonstrated ability to provide culturally appropriate and sensitive healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
