Job no: 900311Work type: Full timeLocation: VariousCategories: Nursing/MidwiferyWomen's and Children's Health Network, Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS), Adelaide (5000)SalaryClassification - RN/M3 - Registered Nurse/Midwife LV 3 - $125,183 to $130,779 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsFull time - Term Contract (12-month Contract)About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CaFHS team as a Nurse Consultant, where you will be responsible for:Providing clinical nursing expertise and leadership to CaFHS staffPromoting positive parenting and delivering universal and targeted programsExercising a significant degree of autonomy and clinical decision-makingTraining and mentoring CaFHS nursing staffCoordinating and providing relevant clinical resourcesEvaluating programs to ensure effective service deliveryLeading and coordinating projects and programs aimed at improving client and service outcomesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate; orRegistered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experienceDemonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards.Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to accept responsibility and co-ordinate own activities while exercising judgement, initiative and meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability in the leadership and facilitation of change management.What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
