Description Seeking a results-oriented digital marketing professional Deliver the SEO strategy through implementing on-page optimisations and delivery of offsite SEO efforts Flexible work options – WFH and Part Time options available from our offices in either Adelaide, Toowoomba or Brisbane About the role: The Digital Channels & Performance Effectiveness Team is at the forefront of transforming marketing effectiveness across all channels. As a key member of the team, you will lead the development of a comprehensive performance SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) strategy with the support of our external agency. You’ll collaborate closely with key teams including Web and Campaigns to deliver clear, actionable insights ensuring seamless alignment with paid media efforts. This is a varied role that will see you deliver the SEO strategy as well as bring it it to live on our websites through implementing on-page SEO optimisations such as meta descriptions, technical SEO audits, redirect setting and more. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting keyword research to identify SEO growth opportunities. Managing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate tracking and reporting. Actively implementing on-page optimisations such as meta descriptions, overseeing tagging & tracking implementations, keyword-focused content optimisations Providing technical guidance on tagging and event tracking and partnering with developers and agencies to ensure seamless integration Overseeing technical and on-page SEO execution to the website team and developers. Monitoring SEO performance metrics and share insights for continuous improvement. Creating SEO strategy aligned with broader marketing efforts Support project work and tasks as directed by the Digital Channels Leader. About you: You are a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of SEO and its role in achieving broader business objectives. You have experience in a communications, marketing, or agency environment, along with up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends and best practices. Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential, as is a sharp eye for detail and the ability to plan, prioritise, and structure your workload effectively. Also essential for this role is: Proven-track record of white hat SEO expertise Expert Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager and Tracking skills Keyword research expertise Candidates who demonstrate any of the following will be highly regarded: Knowledge of Google Algorithms best practices Knowledge of AI and Voice Assistant optimisation Experience using Google My Business Experience using SEMRush, Ahrefs, BrightEdge or comparable SEO tools A relevant degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business is desirable, along with certifications in Google tools such as GA4 or GA360.
