Service Advisor – Dubbo Automotive
We're on the lookout for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our friendly, experienced team at Dubbo Automotive.
This is a front-line role where you'll be the key link between our customers and workshop. Keeping communication clear, jobs running smoothly, and customers confident their vehicle is in good hands.

About the Role
As a Service Advisor, you'll manage the full customer journey from vehicle drop-off to pick-up, delivering professional service and ensuring every job is handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
* Greet customers in a warm, professional manner on arrival
* Identify and document vehicle service and repair requirements
* Review service history and previous recommendations with customers
* Provide clear explanations of completed work, charges, and warranty items at vehicle pick-up
Job & Workflow Management
* Accurately prepare and manage Repair Orders
* Record job details including damage reports, authorisations, payment methods, and contact information
* Liaise closely with the workshop to monitor progress and timeframes
* Proactively update customers if delays or additional work are required
Bookings, Payments & Administration
* Handle phone enquiries and manage bookings using relevant service systems
* Confirm payment methods and obtain fleet authorisations where required
* Manage loan vehicles and explain terms
* Process customer payments and ensure Repair Orders are invoiced and closed correctly
Presentation & Standards
* Maintain a professional personal presentation at all times
* Ensure service areas, workstations, reception, and customer spaces are clean and presentable

About You
You'll be someone who takes pride in customer service, communicates clearly, and stays organised under pressure.
Essential / Preferred Skills & Experience
* Current driver's licence
* Proven customer service experience
* Strong computer and data entry skills
* Mechanical knowledge or willingness to learn
* Sales experience (advantageous but not essential)
