The Ag Shop is a well-established, fast-paced small business that primarily deals with mining and agriculture procurement and logistics seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts & Administration Officer, based in Cannington to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a key support role within the business, requiring a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment where priorities can change.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Banking, data entry, and reconciliations
* End-of-month balancing
* Receipting invoices to purchase orders and checking pricing accuracy
* Printing and managing customer pick documentation for warehouse use
* Entering pick slips from the warehouse
* Correcting purchase orders and coordinating pick-up lists for incoming freight (or liaising with the relevant person to resolve issues)
* Chasing outstanding paperwork, including truck dockets (this is critical to the role)
* Daily updating and tracking of staff hours (not payroll processing)
* Filing and maintaining all financial and operational paperwork on-site
* Sorting and managing a high volume of emails
* Answering phones as required and taking accurate messages
* Supporting reporting, reconciliations, and continuous improvement of finance processes
* Occasional assistance with receiving deliveries (e.g. greeting drivers and signing for freight when required)
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in accounts and administration roles
* Proficient use Microsoft Suite, One Drive and Excel a must
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to multitask, prioritise, and complete tasks even when interrupted
* Strong problem-solving skills and practical thinking
* Ability to work unsupervised and remain self-motivated
* Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
* High level of confidentiality and discretion (essential)
