Key Responsibilities Install, test, configure, and commission integrated PA, EWIS, and hearing augmentation systems. Install and service hardware including displays, speakers, microphones, control panels, racks, amplifiers, and associated cabling infrastructure. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure systems operate reliably and efficiently. Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, networking, and system integration components. Configure and program public address systems including QSYS, Praesensa, Praesideo, and associated technologies. Interpret and work from schematics, technical drawings, layouts, and project documentation. Collaborate closely with project managers, operations managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients during installations and service activities. Maintain accurate service documentation, commissioning records, maintenance reports, and asset tracking information. Provide technical support and user training to clients where required. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements, site-specific procedures, and industry standards. Work safely in various environments including construction sites, plant rooms, elevated work platforms, confined spaces, and live operational facilities. To be successful in this role, you will possess: Certificate III or IV in Electronics, Communications, Audio Visual Technology, or an equivalent trade qualification. Demonstrated experience installing and servicing PA, EWIS, audio visual, or integrated communication systems. Strong understanding of audio, video, and control signal flow principles. Sound knowledge of network fundamentals and structured cabling best practices. Experience working with leading equipment manufacturers such as Bosch, QSC, or similar platforms. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and system documentation. Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies. Ability to think critically, troubleshoot effectively, and seek support when required. Current driver's licence.
