The role:
The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator - Clinical Initiative Nurse, ED is to facilitate and support the development, implementation and evaluation of the Clinical Initiative Nurse (CIN) education framework, training program and associated resources for the Emergency Department (ED).

Department of Emergency Medicine LGH:
1. Provides clinical nursing leadership in a contemporary emergency nursing setting including advanced nursing care within scope of practice
2. In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), undertakes nursing education activities, contributes to planning and coordinates the delivery of services to patients admitted to the Emergency Department.
3. Actively incorporates teaching, practice-based research and quality activities within the role to improve standards of care.
Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 2 October 2023
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
4. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $104,735 - $111,334 per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
5. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019
