What You Will Do:
Provide senior technical leadership within the Data Platforms space to shape future data architecture and the technical vision and guide platform decisions to ensure solutions are reliable, robust, and high-performing.Address complex technical challenges and evaluate emerging data engineering frameworks for a culture of innovation by mentoring engineers and championing technical best practices across the team.Play a key role in supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence for global data operations.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
Extensive experience designing, building, and managing large-scale data platforms such as data lakes or warehouses.A proven record of strategic technical leadership and making impactful architectural decisions at an organisational level.Deep knowledge of modern data technologies (Spark, Presto, or BigQuery) and cloud data services, preferably GCP.Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.Experience driving innovation and managing change within large, regulated environments, ideally financial services.
