About The Opportunity
As an Entry Level Accountant you will report directly to the Director and play a key role in the firms operations. Your responsibilities will include :
Preparing BAS IAS Financial Statements Income Tax Returns CGT & FBT calculations
Attending client meetings providing advice and managing ongoing communication
Liaising with the ATO and managing new business entity setups and registrations
Maintaining accurate client files ensuring lodgement deadlines are met
Providing budgeting cash flow planning and general business advisory support
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have :
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
At least 1 year of experience in public practice
Demonstrated skills in tax and financial statement preparation
Understanding of taxation legislation and proficiency in Xero software
Excellent communication time management and attention to detail
A collaborative professional and proactive approach to client service
