About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabricating, assembling, and repairing tanks and other pressure vessels, ensuring all work meets safety standards and specifications.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Fabricating, assembling, and repairing tanks and other pressure vessels to meet client requirements.
* Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for accurate installation and repairs.
* Conducting inspections and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
* Collaborating with engineering and design teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing boiler systems to optimize performance.
You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff and apprentices in fabrication techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience as a Boilermaker or in a similar role within the mechanical or industrial engineering field.
* Experience with pressure vessels and related components.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fabrication and welding.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the industrial environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
