1. Role Description:
">

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. As part of this role, you will provide focused psychological strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of people accessing our service within a community-based mental health care setting.

2. Key Responsibilities:
">

• Provide comprehensive assessment, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management, and care planning.• Work collaboratively across health service networks to plan and coordinate individualized psychosocial interventions to meet the needs of people with mental health issues based on a case formulation approach.• Work cooperatively and effectively through active participation within the multidisciplinary mental health team, the profession-specific network, and with consumers, families/carers, and extended agencies.

3. Requirements:
">

• Must have one of the following: General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR Mental Health Nurse OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.• Demonstrated a comprehensive level of knowledge, expertise, and skill; specifically, Brief Intervention Models of Care Commitment to professional development and willingness to participate in a continuous learning environment.• Well-developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.• Sound understanding of the public, non-government, and private mental health systems and programs and associated non-mental health programs in a community setting.• Ideally demonstrated experience in providing alcohol and other drugs (AOD) counselling and support.• Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness.• Proven ability to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively as a member of a team.• Demonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks.• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.• Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.• Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
