Project & Roster
Located near Gunnedah, this large open-pit coal mine offers an excellent opportunity to train up and further your skills in the mining industry.
The site provides:
Excellent training and development, including OEM training.
Family-friendly roster – 7:7 (days and nights).
Good camp with gym, wet mess and recreational areas.
Site located 50 minutes' drive from Gunnedah.
Duties
Your minimum of 2+ years post-trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site.
Depending on your skills the role will be workshop, field service or both.
Work in a well-connected and experienced crew.
Operate machinery – CAT trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, CAT and Hitachi excavators.
DIDO, Accommodation and Meals
You will enjoy a DIDO set-up where accommodation and meals are provided.
You will drive to and from the site in your own time.
Modern, clean and comfortable camp accommodation.
High standard of meals.
Recreational facilities including a gym and sports facilities.
Qualifications
Your minimum of 2+ years post-trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site.
The following additional qualifications are desired:
Trade qualifications in a heavy mechanical Cert III.
Strong desire to advance your skills in the mining industry.
Good understanding of CAT machinery.
Excellent attitude towards work and safety values.
Passion for mechanics and advancing your skills.
Team player who can work autonomously.
Reliable and dedicated to the position.
