Sporting the dual crown of Australia's oldest dairy and Australia's most innovative dairy, Brownes Dairy has an opportunity for a Transport Manager who will report directly to the General Manager Logistics.

**The Role**
- Provide leadership to identify and deliver effective logistics solutions
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless and professional customer experience
- Design, implement and manage the company's East Coast transport & distribution strategy to ensure the best service coverage at the best price whilst achieving the target DIFOT
- Explore growth opportunities in the East Coast. Be the lead person from Logistics and Transport on the East Coast expansion working group and develop business cases for partnering with distribution centres, distributors and transport providers.
- Contract management and liaison of Brownes' transport providers ensuring KPIs and DIFOT are met
- Contract Management and liaison of the Distributor's network across WA and East Coast
- Contract writing for new and existing transport and distribution providers ensuring Brownes' customers requirements are incorporated, clear set of KPIs and all legal requirements are covered
- Regional depot strategy and management
- Lead international growth strategy in logistics
***What you would bring to the role**
- Strong team leadership and work management qualities in Transport and Distribution
- Innovative thinker open to development and implementation of new methods and procedures
- Strong financial skills in budgeting and monitoring against budget with a strong focus on cost control and seeking out opportunities to increase profit and reduce cost.
- FMCG experience
- Strong contract management experience related to transport
- Process design and business case development
- Technical competence in transport and distribution, along with strong Analytical skills and Intermediate/Advanced Excel level of competence.
