Key Responsibilities:
The role of Grounds Attendant involves general maintenance and handyman tasks, as well as groundskeeping and landscaping work. This is a casual position that requires working independently and collaboratively with the team.
Duties and Tasks:
* Maintenance Work: Performing general maintenance and handyman tasks to ensure the upkeep of facilities and equipment
* Grounds Maintenance: Carrying out groundskeeping and landscaping work to maintain a tidy and visually appealing environment
* Amenities Cleaning: Cleaning amenities such as restrooms and kitchen areas to maintain a high standard of hygiene
* Cabin Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and maintenance on cabins to ensure they are in good condition
* BBQ's Cleaning: Cleaning BBQ areas to maintain a safe and clean environment for users
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in maintenance, grounds or similar work, with a trade background being an advantage. The ideal candidate will be responsible, reliable and proactive, with strong communication and organizational skills.
Additional Requirements:
You will also need to hold current CPR certification, have a National Police Check clearance upon onboarding, and possess a Working with Children Check or equivalent. A Manual Driver's Licence is required for this role.
