bUL is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced bE&I Field Engineer
to join our team. This role will be a site based (2:2) position for the Chevron, Wheatstone project and will be part of the onsite team dedicated to delivering front-end readiness for Wheatstone Brownfields projects.
About Role
The purpose of the role is to manage E&I Engineering and QA/QC inputs & outputs for the Chevron NRU TOX Projects Perth and Site Execution Team, ensuring that the Project achieves quality outcomes. The role requires excellence in the delivery of assurance, systems & process to ensure safe and timely scope completion in compliance with UGL and Chevron requirements. Contractual compliance and achievement of the project's desired quality outcomes are key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Active commitment towards facilitating a safe and productive working environment.
Review and verify work packs to ensure accuracy, completion and compliance with standards and specifications.
Verify work meets required acceptance criteria, including compliance with industry best practice, client specifications and Australian Standards.
Support QA/QC in conducting audits, inspections and quality reporting as required.
Assist with identification, investigation and advice regarding discipline specific NCRs.
Assist with management of hazardous area deliverables.
Ability to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance & training to execution teams.
Liaise with the client and sub-contractors on all aspects of quality and develop good working relationships with Chevron, other contractors, subcontractors and UGL team members.
Manage and schedule quality activities as per the inspection plans.
Resolve day-to-day challenges and inform of quality incidents that may present a threat to the project's desired outcomes.
Support the resolution of technical queries (TQs) and interface effectively with engineering teams.
Management of completions process including sign off of all Inspection & Test Records (ITRs).
Ensure all quality reporting is issued on-time to the Client, Project and Site Leadership.
Provide input to and review upcoming scopes of work to ensure quality delivery within all phases from design to completion.
Skills
Either WA 'A' grade Unrestricted Electrical License or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
EEHA qualifications within 3 years
Instrumentation qualification 'Certificate 4'
Working knowledge of Australian Standards and ability to interpret engineering drawings
Previous E&I QA/QC experience, Minimum 5 yrs experience in O&G or similar industry
Familiar with equipment used & installation best practices on O&G facilities
Excellent attention to detail
